Chapter 3: A New Beginning
A New Beginning
They say writing from experience is the easiest to do. In some ways they are right. When writing this part of the story I went back to my own experiences. The feelings of pain, anguish and uncertainty are ever-present with this story.
I as stated before, this story started with a gesture from the heart to a special someone. But recently we broke up and the best type of therapy for me was through the creative arts. I drew and wrote what was in my heart. I had to get it out and the best way I knew was through art.
It wasn’t easy, to say the least. I did not want to write or draw, however once I started with the story it became easier. I wrote so much that I could not put it all into one post; I had to divide it into parts or chapters. The third chapter was inspired by my struggle to come to terms with what was happening in my life. To be honest it took me a while to really get it right, or to express what I was really was feeling.
Part or chapter 3 “A New Beginning” continues where chapter 2 “What Tears Us Apart” left off. The Captain is in such a state that even his advisors are taken aback and are at a lose on what to do. Not until an intervention from a familiar person does the Captain begin to recover from his ordeal.
The first steps of the recovery has the Captain undergo a change both mind and body. The first steps are always the hardest but they must happen. What change he undertakes is for you to discover.
I hope you enjoy the story and the images.
