About Me

Paul G out on an adventure.

Born and raised in Toronto Canada, I am an Early Childhood Education (ECE) and most recently a certified Elementary teacher working with children from kindergarten to grade 5.  The one thing you should know about me is that I love all art forms but especially drawing, writing and music.
Over the years, I have met many people; children, parents, co-workers and recently classmates in university. With every person I meet, they leave a mark on me, many have said that I have done the same in their lives as well.  However, recently I discovered that many of the lives I have touched has been inspired by my examples and experiences with them. Either  when teaching children about dinosaurs or baseball, or drawing the children and people as cartoon characters, many have been inspired by these experiences, to reach for new heights.
I discovered that when I inspire others, they in turn inspire me.  This wonderful realization is the inspiration in creating this blog.
I have recently completed my degree program in ECE.  There I met great people, even if it was online.  I then embarked on the next stage of my adventure. I attended teacher’s college at York University to get my BEd (Bachelor of Education) and my teaching certification to be a full-fledged elementary teacher. There I met the most amazing people who in-turn inspired me to go places I thought I would never go.  In the end, I graduated and I am now a fully certified Elementary teacher.
twoCentsOldNewI currently am working with students as an occasional teacher and supply ECE while looking for a full-time teaching position, added to this I have other commitments with family, so I cannot blog everyday.  Yet I have found a balance between all my responsibilities and writing this blog.  Therefore, every Tuesday I will try to post some of my art or that of the student’s and on Fridays I will post a section I call “Friday Two Cents”.  Every Friday I will try to post my opinion, or my two cents, on something that happened in the news or to me during the week.

But watch out during the other days of the week just in case.  If I find something Inspiring, Interesting or Creative, I will do my best to share it.  You see, my creativity comes from the people around me.  Who knows when I can get inspired.  Then hopefully, I can inspire others, just as they have inspired me.
