Comic Strip: I Know What I Want

The next installment goes to show how savvy the children really are today.  Most people growing up would usually know what they wanted for Christmas as kids and most of it had to do with toys or games myself included.  Today however, the kids are about the same but with more lofty goals.

I too am guilty of these lofty Christmas goals.  We are doing the Chris Kringle at my work place and we had to make a list of what we wanted for Christmas.  I usually ask for gift cards because when asked I say I don’t need anything and I’ll get something after when I need something.  Or else I do know what I want and I’ll tell people that I am getting this specific item and they will give me a bunch of gift cards to get that one item, example my Ipad.

Yet the children are already at that level.  They know what they want and they do the exact same thing.  This was the inspiration of the comic this month.  No child actually said this word for word, but if you talk to the kids and really listen to them, you get the picture.  It truly is amazing to see ten-year olds thinking like adults, I guess that’s progress.

Hope you enjoy the latest Comic Strip: I Know What I Want.
