Comic Strips: Not an End but a New Beginning

I created these comics for the children at my school as a pleasant memory from their time us.  What made this comic more special is that once I sent out the newsletter, parents and the children in the school wanted this one because it had all of the children together.  They loved it so much that they asked to put the comic in the yearbook.

I was surprised and flattered so I sent them a copy and of course it was in the yearbook for the graduating class.  However, what happened next was even more humbling.  The children started coming up and asking me to sign their yearbook and the picture too.  Even children that were not in the comic wanted me to sign.

I had created something that made people truly happy.  I was not ready for this but it made me feel good to bring a bit of joy into their lives.  I guess that is what any artist can hope to ask for.
